KURO’s creative  director, Yusuke Yatsuhashi, inspired by the zen philosophy of “Be Water”, combines the fluidity of  lines and shared time spaces in a collection focused on sophisticated style. “BE WATER" embodies  the relaxed, adaptive flow, resilient of life's currents. "FLOW SPACE" is about authentic harmony, a  fluid dance between self and the evolving world, urging wearers to explore the spaces of their identity.

Yatsuhashi's cross-cultural research draws inspiration from the intersection of Japanese and Western  cultures. Through his bold use of colour and shift in perspective, he adds youthful humour to KURO's  innovative tailoring techniques. The collection features a fusion of 70s retro elements and avant garde tailoring techniques, where upcycled denim gives rise to futuristic silhouettes, geometric  patterns, and classic floral patterns hand-embroidered by sophisticated artisans. 

The AW24 collection embodies utopian simplicity, re-imagining the sophisticated comfort, luxury  fabric, polished Japanese craftsmanship and fun characterising KURO. With the “BE WATER FLOW  SPACE” collection, KURO continues to invite the wearer to find free expression and a vision that  speaks to their inner truth.
