A one-wash treatment after production helps to blend the contrast between the fabrics while bringing out the unique three-dimensional quality of sashiko.

Processing and Details

A one-wash treatment after production softens the overall stiffness, giving it a natural texture.
Antique beads are added to the hood string, subtly incorporating the decorative quality of handmade craftsmanship.
The embellishments are not overly assertive, placed as an extension of the material's feel.
