MONSTER STRETCH DENIM started with the theme of creating a new history of denim.
Most stretch denim is generally said to have a stretch ratio of 130% / stretch recovery ratio of 60%. In other words, if you have a denim fabric of 100cm, it will stretch to 130cm, and the stretched fabric will only recover to 112cm, which is looser than the original fabric. MONSTER STRETCH, however, boasts an elongation rate of 160% and a stretch recovery rate of over 90%.
You can imagine that 100cm of "denim fabric" stretches to 160cm, and after stretching, the fabric returns to its original length of almost 100cm.
The secret of this stretchability lies in the fact that we have fundamentally overturned the principle of stretch. Instead of the conventional principle of stretch fabrics, which is to stretch the original fabric by shrinking it through processing, we have adopted a new technique of weaving high-stretch yarns with reduced tension. The "fabric stretches. Helvetica is a completely new type of stretch denim, in which the thread itself stretches, rather than the fabric.
The greatest feature of Helvetica is that despite its innovative stretchiness, it expresses an exquisite vintage-like texture and has selvedges on the edges of the fabric. Normally, stretch denim has a "stretch denim" look and feel, but Helvetica's fabric is so well reproduced in its processing that it could pass for 100% cotton.
The silhouette is slim and tapered. The silhouette is a slim taper, with a slightly deeper inseam for a stable waist, and a gradual taper from the crotch to the hem for a very well balanced silhouette.
