A denim jacket that embodies the Japanese spirit of "Tsukuroi (Boro/Mending)." Crafted from light indigo denim, it features a contrasting fabric pocket connected with hand-sewn stitching and embroidered with the Maison Kitsuné logo. The hem and cuffs are intentionally left raw, giving it the appearance of a well-worn vintage piece from the start.
It features a cropped, boxy silhouette. The damage processing seen throughout and the hand-blind-stitched patchwork are the meticulous handiwork of highly experienced Japanese artisans.
This patchwork jacket has been a goal since the beginning of the collaboration. The denim processing is handled by a highly skilled factory in the Kanto region, with every step carefully executed by hand to tailor each garment individually.
This technique is deeply admired by both Maison Kitsuné co-founder Gildas Loaëc and KURO designer Yusuke Yahashi, making it a special collection born from their mutual resonance.
