STRUCTURE SHORTS WASH 001

Denim shorts designed to visualize the passage of time and traces of wear by giving each side a different character. Instead of aiming for uniformity, we intentionally left inconsistencies in the fading, allowing multiple timelines to coexist within a single pair. This product embodies the feeling of being a finished item that is already in the midst of aging.

Material

Made from denim fabric. Washing and processing give the fabric a profound texture, with natural gradations of shade characteristic of FADED INDIGO. While retaining the crispness and stiffness of the base denim, it also offers softness suitable for wear.

Processing

These shorts are garment-washed to achieve an overall faded look. The left side, in particular, features a stronger fade, creating a finish that evokes the unevenness caused by everyday movements and wear. We intentionally disrupted uniformity, incorporating processing irregularities as a design element.

Silhouette

A shorts silhouette with a moderate amount of room around the waist. Designed for a relaxed feel without being excessively loose. The weight of the denim and the faded texture give the silhouette a natural drape.

Background Story

These shorts were born from the idea that the passage of time for denim does not proceed at a uniform speed. The differences caused by the wearer's movements and habits are incorporated as a design element from the start. The asymmetrical fading expresses the accumulation of time itself.
