This is a piece that reexamines the most basic item, the T-shirt, from the perspective of structure and process.
Rather than relying on decoration or excessive processing, the differences created by the knitting and sewing themselves are used as part of the design.
It is precisely because of its simplicity that we place importance on the way the combination of materials and structure is reflected in the contours.

Material

The fabric used is BD round body jersey.
It features uniform tension and a natural drape, which is unique to round knitting with no side seams.
It is thick and sturdy, yet soft against the skin, making it well-balanced for everyday wear.

Processing

The white color has been dyed white.
Rather than simply being plain white, the dyeing process creates subtle shadows and a sense of depth.
The grey has been washed to give it a soft texture that conforms to the body, and adds depth with the unevenness and shadows that are characteristic of marbling.
With repeated washing, the fabric will gradually become more comfortable and you can enjoy the changes over time.

Silhouette

A regular fit with ample room in the chest.
The natural cylindrical shape created by the circular knitting conforms to the body's contours while providing a comfortable fit without being restrictive.

Background Story

Details such as the ribbed neck and circular knitting reflect the knitting and sewing process.
Because T-shirts tend to be mass-produced and standardized, the final result depends on which process is chosen and which structure is retained.
