TECTONIC DENIM is designed with the concept of creating structure by pinching a single piece of denim, rather than adding separate parts.
Its distinctive feature is that while the transitions are visual, the underlying structure is continuous.

Material

Made from 12.5oz selvedge denim crafted by Ibohara Textiles, a company with over 100 years of history.
The fabric, woven on a vintage shuttle loom, boasts the uneven texture characteristic of slub yarns, giving it a rich depth.
The variations in shade created by the processing give the jeans multiple expressions within one piece.
With wear, the contrast between the transitioned areas and the base fabric will become more pronounced.

Processing

The lines that appear as transitions are not created by panel divisions sewn together, but by precisely rendering three-dimensional shapes formed by pinching the fabric, using laser processing.
While based on the idea of handcraft, modern technology is incorporated into the process to consistently reproduce the intended lines and expressions.

Adopting the MONTE silhouette as its base.
