FRAMED BLANKET STITCH CHAMBRAY SHIRT INDIGO
¥35,200
COLOR: INDIGO
PRODUCT DETAILS

This simple chambray shirt is tailored with blanket stitching that outlines its structure. Instead of emphasizing ornamentation, the act of tracing the outline itself is seen as a design.
Traces of handwork subtly remain within its quiet presence.

Material

Made from indigo-dyed chambray fabric. The material is light and soft, making it comfortable to wear year-round. It has been pre-washed to reduce the stiffness characteristic of indigo, giving it a natural feel.

Processing/Details

Blanket stitching is applied around the placket, collar, and pockets. The stitching, which encircles the edges of the fabric, visually highlights the structure. The one-wash process blends the fabric and stitching, creating a subtle contrast.

Silhouette

A relaxed silhouette with a moderate amount of room throughout. It features a gentle curve towards the hem, making it versatile for wearing alone or layered. With wear and washing, the indigo color will develop a unique aging effect over time.

Background Story

Created against the backdrop of the 26SS season theme, "Artisan Handwork." This garment is designed to develop its character through washing and time, rather than having a fixed finished form.
