TECTONIC DENIM creates structural transitions within a single pair of jeans. For VER3, we've further emphasized the contrast and placement of light and dark tones, clearly defining the visual rhythm. The concept remains the same: rather than reconstructing, we manipulate the flow of the fabric by pinching a single piece of denim, resulting in a pair with a different aesthetic.

Material

Made from 12.5oz selvedge denim produced by Ihara Orimono, a company with over 100 years of history. The fabric, woven on a vintage shuttle loom, has the uneven texture characteristic of slub yarns, creating a rich, deep texture. Based on a FADED INDIGO color tone, processing creates multiple layers of light and dark within a single piece. As you wear them, the difference in texture between the transitioned areas and the base fabric will become more pronounced.

Processing

The lines that appear to be transitions are not created by switching out parts, but are formed from the three-dimensional shape created by pinching a single piece of denim. This structure is precisely visualized through laser processing, clearly defining the intended lines and color boundaries.

Silhouette

Similar to VER1, designed based on the MONTE silhouette. The waist is neat, fitting moderately from the hips to the thighs, and creating a slim flare line that gently widens from below the knee. This silhouette combines a modern impression with comfortable wear.

Background Story

Under the 26SS season theme "Craftsman's Handiwork," these jeans combine the physical act of pinching by hand with precise laser processing. Starting from a craft-oriented mindset, the expression is sharper. This pair presents the relationship between structure and aesthetic from a different perspective.
