CARVER uses 12.5oz selvedge denim with a 7/-x7/-. The warp threads are slightly less densely woven to create a moderate amount of looseness in the fabric. The yarn count is thick, so the denim has a firm texture. The silhouette is straight, with a masculine hip shape that features pips. The straightness is classic, but is shaped to look modern. The thread used for sewing is a pale yellow like that used for vintage clothing, giving it a color that changes over time. The processing is done at a processing factory based in the Kanto region that specializes in traditional techniques, using the latest technology with sustainable methods to create a retro look.
The design features knitted patchwork, and the knitted parts are made from 100% hemp and are carefully crafted by artisans one by one.
